Billing Cycle: The billing cycle or statement period is the duration for which the payment of the card has to be made.
Payment Due Date: It is the date by which the amount due by you should be paid to the bank. It is basically a deadline and payments made later than this date attracts late payment charges.
Total Amount Due: This is the total amount, including all the transactions and charges that are due as on the statement date. It includes opening balance, new purchases, balance transfer and other charges.
Minimum Amount Due: It is the minimum amount that you need to pay to the bank on or before the due date to avoid any charges.
Closing Balance: It is the total balance or amount that is due on your card which you’ll be required to pay in case you plan to pay off the entire debt.
Current Outstanding Balance: It is the total amount of the money that you are required to pay to the bank before the payment due date.
Transaction Summary: It is the summary of all the transactions made by your credit card within the statement period.
Generally, the minimum amount due is calculated as the 5% of the total outstanding amount. The minimum amount due is inclusive of all the charges levied on your credit card. Here’s an example to help you understand how the minimum due is calculated:
For example: You have made a purchase of Rs. 10,000 on August 15 and the due date is September 26, then your minimum amount due will be Rs. 500 (5% of Rs. 10,000).
You can check your SBI Credit Card Statement online by logging into your credit card account or by downloading the SBI Card mobile app. Besides this, the bank also has a facility of chatbot, where you can get your credit card statement within a few minutes. Here is how you can download your credit card statement online.
Step 1: Visit the official website of SBI Card.
Step 2: Log in to your SBI Card account by entering the registered login ID and password.
Step 3: On the left side of the home screen, you will see the ‘My Account’ option. Click on it and from the drop-down menu, click on ‘Card Statement’.
Step 4: Now you can see your SBI Credit Card Statement. You can find the total amount due and the date on which it is to be paid along with the detailed expenses.
Step 1: Visit the official website of SBI Card.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Ask ILA’ option available on the bottom right corner of the screen.
Step 3: Login using your existing SBI Card user ID and password.
Step 4: Click on ‘Statement’ from the given options and the live assistant will lead you to view your credit card statement and all other card-related details.

The e-statement is the fastest, most secure and more convenient option when compared to other methods of statement generation. If you don’t want to access your SBI Credit Card Statement online, then you can also use the offline methods to check the same. Below mentioned are the ways through which you can check your credit card statement:
Via SMS: You can get your duplicate statement by sending an SMS in a pre-defined format. Send-DSTMT XXXX MM to 5676791.
Note: XXXX stands for the last 4 digits of your SBI Card and MM is the statement month. Also, the call should be made from the mobile number registered with the bank.
Through Customer Care: Contact the SBI Credit Card Customer Care and request for your credit card statement. The representative will ask for a few card-related details and after complete authentication, the bank will provide your credit card statement.
Via Post: You can place a request to receive a hard copy of your credit card statement via post. The hard copy will be sent to your residential address registered with the bank.
Note: The physical statements are dispatched and delivered within 10 calendar days from the date of statement generation via available delivery mode (courier/ postal).
By Visiting the Branch: Visit the nearest State Bank of India branch and request the bank’s representative for your credit card statement for the chosen time duration.
