Documents that contain the proof of residing address of the applicant are one of the most important documents to be submitted to the authorized Aadhaar centre. The list of documents required for issuing Aadhaar cards for children is similar to that for a normal applicant. However, one of the parents has to provide their Aadhaar copy in addition to the documents required by normal applicants for obtaining a child’s Aadhaar card.

Given below is the list of acceptable documents required for Aadhaar Card for OCI cardholders/ LTV document holders/ Nepal & Bhutan nationals as well as other Resident Foreigners:
- For OCI Cardholders: Valid OCI card along with valid foreign passport for residents who have stayed in India at least 182 days in the last one year is acceptable as ID proof
