• Visit UBI’s Aadhaar linking portal at https://goo.gl/jRj6K2
• Enter your full name, account number and Aadhaar number
• In case you want to avail DBT benefits, select Yes in the box provided
• If you do not want to make UBI account the default account for DBT transfer, select No in this box
• Read the disclaimer carefully and tick it
• Now submit your request
• You will get a service request number
• Your bank account will be linked with the bank account within 5 working days

How to Check Aadhaar linking Status Online

You can check the status of Aadhaar linking with your United Bank of India account online as well. Here’s how to do that:

• Enter your 13 digit account number
• Enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number
• Click on Check Status button
• Your Aadhaar linking status will be displayed on the screen

Points to Remember while Linking Aadhaar with UBI Account Online

Before you link your bank account with Aadhaar online, you should keep the following points in mind:

• Your name in Aadhaar card should match with your bank account
• In case of a mismatch in the name on Aadhaar card and your bank account, you will have to visit the branch for Aadhaar seeding
• The complete process may take up to 5 working days
• No fee is charged by the bank for Aadhaar seeding with the account

How to Link Aadhaar with United Bank of India Account Offline

United Bank of India account holders can link their bank accounts with Aadhaar by visiting a nearby UBI branch as well. They have to carry a self-attested copy of Aadhaar card along with the original Aadhaar. You need to follow these steps to link Aadhaar with United Bank of India account offline:

• Visit the nearest United Bank of India branch
• Fill the Aadhaar linking form
• Attach the self-attested copy of your Aadhaar card
• Submit the form to the bank executive
• Show your original Aadhaar for verification purpose
• The executive returns the original Aadhaar along with the receipt
• Your Aadhaar will be linked with your bank account within 5 working days
