Samsung is one of the market leaders when it comes to smartphones and consumer electronics. It is also the first to launch a co-branded credit card.

Samsung Axis Bank Credit Card is a good option for Samsung loyalists as they can save 10% in the form of cashback, every time they buy a new Samsung Product or avail service from the brand. The cards also provide decent reward points across other spends and accelerated earning with select partners including Myntra, Zomato, Tata 1MG, Big Basket and Urban Company. Complimentary lounge access adds to the benefits.

While this is a co-branded credit card, Axis Bank has tried to cover more ground offering benefits across different categories, especially with popular brands. The Signature variant can be a good option if you are looking for benefits on Samsung, as the annual fee is only Rs. 500.

However, the Infinite variant charges an annual fee of Rs. 5,000 which seems too high for a cashback card. You should opt for this variant only if you think you can spend Rs. 7 Lakh in a year or make multiple purchases with Samsung to reach the annual cashback earning limit of Rs. 20,000.

How will I get the cashback on my Samsung credit cards?

The cashback earned will be credited to your card account within 60 days of making the transaction.

If I purchase a Samsung product worth Rs. 50,000, will I get a full 10% cashback of Rs. 5,000 on this?

This depends on your card variant. The monthly limit on the Samsung Axis Bank Infinite Credit Card is Rs. 5,000. So, if you are using the Infinite variant, you will get Rs. 5,000 cashback. However, the monthly limit on the Signature variant is Rs. 2,500. So, even if 10% of your purchase is Rs. 5,000, you will be able to get Rs. 2,500 only.

How many reward points will I get on international transactions?

With both cards, you will earn 5 reward points per Rs. 100 for international transactions. However, you should note that foreign exchange markup fee of 3.5% will be applicable on transactions made in foreign currency.

How will I get the Priority Pass with my Samsung Axis Bank Infinite Credit Card?

Priority Pass would be issued on making the first transaction within 30 days of card issuance. It will be sent to your registered mailing address and will be delivered within 15 days post completing the transaction.
