Bank of Baroda EaseMyTrip Debit Card is the first travel co-branded debit card in India issued by a Public Sector Bank. Following its success in the co-branded credit card space with Standard Chartered and PNB, EaseMyTrip has introduced this debit card using the same instant discount model.
Cardholders will get 10% instant discount on domestic and international flight booking and 15% instant discount on hotel bookings via EaseMyTrip. There is no minimum transaction value, which means travellers can avail discount even on small bookings. However, across the travel category (including flights, hotels and bus bookings), cardholders can make only 2 transactions per card per quarter. For instance, if you use discounts on flights and hotels in one quarter, no further discounts can be claimed within that period.
While EaseMyTrip’s co-branded credit cards offer limited lifestyle perks, this debit card includes added benefits in dining, movies, and shopping. Existing Bank of Baroda account holders can apply through net banking or the mobile app, while new customers must open an account to access the card.
