Andhra Bank Timings Post COVID-19 Lockdown
After consulting the state governments, Andhra Bank has decided to restore its normal working hours i.e. 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM from Monday to Friday. Concerning the guidelines issued by the IBA in March 2020, Andhra Bank had reduced its working hours and temporarily barred certain banking services.

It is to be noted that all banking services including account opening, passbook update, cash deposit/withdrawal, etc. are now available at the branch offices. Some services like NEFT and RTGS are available at the specified time slots. Nonetheless, customers can avail these services 24×7 via Andhra Bank Net-banking and Andhra Bank Mobile Banking.
While visiting the bank, customers are requested to take necessary precautions:
- Wearing a face mask is mandatory in the bank premises
- Customers should sanitise their hands properly before and after leaving the bank
- Proper queues, following social distancing, should be maintained

NEFT Timings
NEFT payment settlements take place at Andhra Bank in batches from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM every day except on Saturdays, Sundays, and bank holidays.
Also, Andhra Bank account holders can transfer funds using the NEFT system via net-banking. As directed by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), no charges will be levied on the transfer of funds online via NEFT.
RTGS Timings
Real-time Gross Settlement (RTGS) service is available at Andhra Bank from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM every day except on Saturdays, Sundays, and bank holidays.

Andhra Bank was founded by Bhogaraju Pattabhi Sitaramayya in 1923 in Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The bank was nationalized in the second wave of nationalization of commercial banks in April 1980 and was then wholly owned by the bank.
