RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement) is a digital money transfer system. This is an apt mode of high-value money transfer. Axis Bank account holders can visit the bank branch or the bank website to make payment by filing the Axis Bank RTGS form. The bank permits RTGS for a minimum amount of Rs. 2 lakhs. The transaction takes place on a round-the-clock basis. RTGS transaction takes place in the RBI record books. For this reason, the amount is not reversible.

RTGS transactions can be performed only by Axis Bank account holders; the recipient or beneficiary might not be an Axis Bank account holder.
