Bank Holidays in Assam 2020

As per the Reserve Bank of India or RBI, Indian bank holidays are granted on the 2^nd and 4^th Saturday of every month. Owing to this, banks remain open on the 1^st, 3^rd and 5^th Saturdays of every month as regular working days.

In RTGS, the transactions are processed continuously on a one-to-one basis throughout the RTGS business hours and are most used for high-value transactions. The RTGS settlement takes place on all working days. It does not work on following days:

• Sunday
• 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the Month
• Declared holidays
