Bank Holidays in Meghalaya 2020

According to the RBI banks remain open on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturdays of every month as regular working days but remain closed on 2nd and 4th Saturday.

The RTGS settlement takes place on all working days but it is non-operational on Sundays and 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the Month. Other than this, following is a list of holidays on which users will not be able to use RTGS service:

As per the RBI, NEFT is available 24*7, 365 days a year. Hence one can carry out NEFT anytime anywhere.

As mandated by the RBI, commercial, scheduled, non-scheduled, co-operative and regional rural banks will remain closed to the public on the 2nd and 3rd Saturdays of every month. 5th Saturdays are working days in a given month.
