HSBC credit card holders have multiple options to make their credit card payments on time. Both online and offline payment options are available to make HSBC Credit Card Payment. However, the most popular is HSBC Credit Card Payment NEFT method which is chosen by customers and gives the option of transferring funds on the go.
HSBC Credit Card Payment through NEFT
You can pay all your outstanding credit card bills using NEFT by adding your HSBC Credit Card as a beneficiary on your internet banking or mobile banking account. You will have to follow a few simple steps to complete these transactions and ensure that the funds are transferred:
- Log on to your online banking account by providing your username and password.
- Under the “Fund Transfer” option, choose NEFT.
- Click on Add / Manage beneficiary to add your HSBC credit card details.
- Your 16 digit credit card number is entered under the beneficiary account number section.
- The IFSC Code to be provided is HSBC0400002.
- Once you have provided all the necessary details, click on the “Confirm” button.
- After the details have been submitted, your beneficiary will be added within 30 minutes.
- Once your credit card has been added as a beneficiary, you can choose NEFT transfer and provide the amount that you need to transfer.
- You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.
- Enter the OTP and complete your transaction.
- Once the transaction is complete, you will receive an alert via SMS.

What are the NEFT Charges?
RBI has directed all banks to not levy any charges on NEFT transfers initiated online via internet banking and/or mobile banking. Also, if you are making any inward transactions to make your HSBC card payments, then these charges are not applicable.
The regular NEFT charges levied on transfers initiated at the bank branch are:

When can NEFT payments be made?
HSBC Bank NEFT transactions take place in 48 half-hourly batches. The service is available 24×7 for 365 days, including holidays. The settlement of the first batch will commence after 00:30 hours and the last batch will end at 00:00 hours.
NEFT transactions after usual banking hours of banks are expected to be automated transactions initiated using ‘Straight Through Processing (STP)’ modes by the banks.
