IndusInd Bank Timings

Post COVID-19 lockdown, Indusind Bank has announced a change in its operating hours and resumption of all the non-essential services which are temporarily barred. The bank will operate as usual from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Saturday (except on 2nd and 4th Saturday). All banking services including non-financial facilities such as passbook updating, account opening, etc. will be available during these hours.

Extra precautions for sanitization, cleanliness and social distancing are being taken by the bank-

• Customers will not be allowed to enter the bank without a face mask
• Social distancing should be maintained at the bank
• Customers should sanitise properly before and after leaving the premises
• Proper queues should be maintained to ensure social distancing
• Customers should not visit the bank unless absolutely necessary

However, all the account holders are requested to use Indusind Net-banking or Mobile Banking services for all the transactions and not to visit the branch office unless absolutely necessary. 

NEFT Timings

NEFT transactions are processed between 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM from Monday to Saturday (2nd and 4th Saturday, Sundays, and bank holidays).

RTGS Timings

RTGS transactions are processed between 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM from Monday to Saturday (except 2nd and 4th Saturday, Sundays, and bank holidays).

Note: It is to be noted that all Saturdays and Sundays are bank holidays.

IndusInd Bank Timings for cash deposit and other banking services is 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. IndusInd account holders can visit their nearest IndusInd Bank branch on all weekdays to avail various banking services. IndusInd Bank is closed on 2nd and 4th Saturday, Sundays, and all the bank holidays.

IndusInd Bank does not recognize a formal lunch break. Employees take their lunch break on a rotational basis so that the bank’s services are not hampered. The usual lunch timings at the bank are around 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. Nevertheless, customers can visit the bank during lunch hours as well to avail the bank’s services.

IndusInd Bank services include safe deposit lockers. Customers who wish to visit their lockers or apply for one can do so during the branch’s banking hours. Also this service can be availed on all working days of the week.

IndusInd Bank was established in 1994 and began operations on 17 April 1994. It is owned by Hinduja Group to serve the interests of Non Resident Indians. According to the bank the name IndusInd comes from Indus Valley Civilisation. The bank initially started its operations with a joint capital of ₹ 1 billion raised by Indian Residents as well as Non-Resident Indians. Even though the bank is comparatively young it has quickly established itself as a reputed and trusted bank for Indians.
