The IOB mobile banking registration is a simple process. It can be done in 3 different ways –
Step 1: Download the registration form from the official Indian Overseas Bank website. The form needs to be duly filled with all the required data
Step 2: The required data includes the correct name, residential address, account number, other bank details, phone number, etc. The form needs to be submitted to the nearest Indian Overseas Bank branch
Step 3: Alternatively, one can use the internet banking service. The official Indian Overseas Bank website has an option to log in to the internet banking account. Log in to IOB net banking portal and then click on “Edit Profile’’
Step 4: Click on “Register Mobile Banking” option
Step 5: Fill all the registration details like the account number, email ID, mobile number, mark “Mobile Banking Fund Transfer facility” to “Yes” and set the “Funds transfer PIN”. After providing all the essential information, click on “Submit”
Step 6: Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number and click on “Submit”

For IOB Mobile Banking app activation, account holders will be required to follow the steps mentioned below –
Step 1: Download IOBMobile from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store
Step 2: Open the mobile banking app and enter the registered mobile number, mPIN and then click on “Generate OTP”
Step 3: Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number and click on “Verify OTP”
Step 4: A message stating the successful verification of OTP will be displayed on the screen
Step 5: On the next screen enter and then re-enter the login password and click on “Submit”
Step 6: A message stating the successful creation of your login password will be displayed on the screen
Step 7: Enter the password, accept the terms and conditions and click on “Login” to log in to IOB Mobile banking account
Customers can fill an application form for Indian Overseas Bank Mobile Banking and submit it to the nearest bank branch. After registration, the bank sends a welcome kit that has all the required mobile banking details, including mPIN.
