Karnataka Bank Timings Post COVID-19 Lockdown
Along with other public and private sector banks, Karnataka Bank has reinstated its usual operating hours. All the branches across the country will remain open between 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM from Monday to Saturday (except on 2nd and 4th Saturdays).
Karnataka Bank has also resumed its non-essential services which were temporarily suspended in the initial stages of lockdown. Customers can avail account opening, passbook printing, note exchange, cash deposits/withdrawals, clearance of cheques, remittances, and government transactions services at the bank.
For the customers visiting the bank, it is mandatory to wear a face mask and use the sanitizers installed to sanitize their hands immediately before and after leaving the bank.
Nonetheless, the bank is encouraging its customers to make the best use of Karnataka Bank net-banking and mobile banking to help fight the menace as responsible citizens. The primary objective of these proactive steps by the Bank is to help the general public and the business community to transact seamlessly in times of social distancing.
NEFT Timings
According to the Reserve Bank of India, there are 48 half-hourly settlement batches every day. The settlement of the first batch will commence after 00:30 hours and the last batch will end at 00:00 hours.
RTGS Timings
Karnataka Bank opens timed windows for RTGS Transactions is available 24X7.
However, NEFT & RTGS services are available online 24*7 for 365 days. The RBI has advised all the banks to not impose any service charges on any such online transactions.
