RTGS and NEFT Holidays in Mumbai 2020
RTGS and NEFT are the payment systems that facilitate one-to-one funds transfer in India. People can electronically transfer money from any bank branch to a person holding an account with any other bank branch via these payment systems.
While RTGS works on a real time basis, NEFT settles transactions in half-hourly batches. RTGS system is meant for large-value instantaneous fund transfers, while system is used for fund transfers of up to Rs. 2 lakh.
