When you create an account with SBI, you are usually given a debit card as well. However, if you did not receive a debit card or wish to apply for a new one, you can contact SBI’s customer service to submit a request. You may either visit the branch or use internet banking to request a debit card.

How to Apply for SBI Debit Card Online?

How to Apply for SBI Debit Card Offline?

To apply for an SBI debit card offline you can call the SBI Debit Card Customer Care Number at 080-26599990 or toll-free numbers 1800 11 2211/1800 425 3800. You can also visit an SBI branch and fill out an application to apply for a new debit card.  You will be notified via SMS on your registered mobile number regarding the dispatch of your new debit card.

After getting your debit card, you must activate it using your PIN in a few simple steps. You can generate SBI debit card pin by both online as well as offline modes. You can visit your nearest SBI ATM to generate a pin offline. Here, you will be asked to enter your account number and registered mobile number, after successful verification an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. This OTP will be valid for 2 days and can be used to generate a new debit card pin using the ATM. To activate an SBI debit card online you can use SBI net banking and YONO mobile app. You can also call SBI customer care to assist you in generating the debit card pin.

Ans. You can block your SBI ATM Card by following these steps Log on to SBI Net Banking >> Under e-services, select the ATM Card Services>Block ATM Card >> Choose the account to which the card is linked>> You will be shown all active and blocked cards, select the card you wish to block>> Verify the details and click “Submit”>> Select the mode of authentication SMS, OTP or Profile Password>> Enter the OTP password /Profile password as chosen earlier and Click “Confirm”.

After successfully blocking your ATM or Debit Card, a success message with a Ticket No. will be shown. Make a note of this Ticket No. for future use for your debit card tracking.
