How to Register and Link your Account on BHIM Suryoday UPI
Suryoday Small Finance Bank provides its customers with BHIM Suryoday UPI app for Android users. However, iOS users can link their Suryoday account to BHIM UPI to access UPI services. The registration and linking process for both applications is the same as mentioned below:
Step 1: Download and install BHIM UPI app from Google Play Store and Apple Store.
Step 2: Choose your preferred language.
Step 3: Give application the permission to send and view SMS messages and verify your mobile number (Add the registered mobile number with the bank).
Step 4: To access the application, you need to set the passcode.
Step 5: Link your bank account from the provided bank option.
Step 6: Set your UPI PIN. You will require last 6-digits of your debit card and expiry date to do the same.
Step 7: You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number for successful PIN creation. Confirm your PIN and tap on ‘Submit’.
Step 8: On the home screen of the application, tap on ‘Profile’ section and on the next page, create your UPI ID.
Step 9: Your UPI ID will be created successfully
How to Send Money using BHIM Suryoday UPI App
BHIM UPI application offers multiple ways to send money namely – through VPA, through mobile number, and using account number & IFSC. The below-mentioned steps explain how can one send money using VPA:
Step 1: Open BHIM UPI and login with the set passcode.
Step 2: Click on ‘Send’ icon on the home screen of the app.
Step 3: Add the VPA of the receiver and click on verify to check the name of the receiver.
Step 4: Details of the receiver will be fetched from the bank. Enter the amount and tap on ‘Pay’.
Step 5: To complete your transaction, enter the UPI PIN.
Step 6: Your transaction will be successful.

How to Receive/Collect Money using BHIM Suryoday UPI App
There are multiple ways to receive/collect money through BHIM UPI. However, the below-mentioned steps explain how one can receive/collect money through a mobile number which happens to be the easiest way of receiving and collecting money through UPI:
Step 1: Open BHIM UPI application and login with the passcode.
Step 2: Tap on ‘Receive Money’ icon on the home screen of the application.
Step 3: Add the mobile number of the payer and tap on verify to check the name of the payer.
Step 4: When you do so, the details of the payer will reflect on the screen. Verify the details and enter the amount that needs to be received.
Step 5: The confirmation of the request will be received.
Step 6: Your request will be sent to the payer. Once the payer accepts your request, the amount will be transferred to your bank account.

Ans. BHIM application allows you to add two VPAs.
Q. While making a bill payment through BHIM, my account got debited but the bill payment failed. When will I get my money back?
Ans. In such a case, you will receive your money in three working days as notified in BHIM.
Q. How can I check all the collect requests made to me?
Ans. You will find a ‘Pending’ section under ‘transactions’ menu. You will see all collect requests under this section. You can approve or decline these requests.

Ans. Yes. BHIM service can be availed without internet by dialling *99# from any mobile phone.
