Eligibility:
For availing the Canara Visa Classic / MasterCard Standard credit card the customer need to have a satisfactory dealing history with Canara bank. The minimum limit for availing this card is Rs 1,00,000 per annum and the minimum card limit is Rs 10000.
Maximum Card Limit:
The maximum card limit offered by the Canara Visa Classic / MasterCard Standard credit card is 30% of the per annum income of the customer at the discretion of the bank and the maximum card limit offered by this card is Rs 3 Lakhs.
Enrollment Fees:
For every credit card there is certain enrollment fee that the customer has to pay but Canara bank offers the Visa Classic / MasterCard Standard credit card for ‘zero’ enrollment fees i.e. the customer can avail this credit card for free.
Free Credit Period:
The credit period offered by the Visa Classic / MasterCard Standard credit card is up to 50 days.
Minimum Repayment on Revolving Credit:
The Canara banks’ Visa Classic / MasterCard Standard credit card offers revolving credit to its customer. In order to maintain the revolving credit the customers must repay a minimum amount of the bill generated. In case of the Visa Classic / MasterCard Standard credit card the minimum repayment is 5% of the billed amount subject to a minimum of Rs 100.
Cash Advance Limit:
The Canara banks Visa Classic / MasterCard Standard credit card offers cash advance facility to its customers. The cash advance limit against the credit card account is 50% of the credit limit offered to the customer subject to maximum limit of Rs 50,000.
ATM Cash Withdrawal:
Cash withdrawal at ATMs of Canara bank or any other bank is available. If cash withdrawal is done at other banks ATMs then the related ATM charges are applicable.
Insurance:
The card holders of Canara Visa Classic / MasterCard Standard credit card get a complimentary insurance coverage as under:
- In case of death due to Air Accident: Rs. 4.00 Lakhs for Self and Rs. 2.00 Lakhs for Spouse.
- In case of death due to reasons other than Air Accident: Rs. 2.00 Lakhs for Self and Rs 1.00 Lakhs for Spouse.
- In case of Baggage loss in travel Canara bank offers Baggage insurance of Rs 25000 to both self and spouse.
- The card holders also get purchase protection cover restricted to max of Rs 2000 in case of loss of card from the actual time of receipt of valid information regarding loss of credit card with the bank.
Billing Date and Payment Due Dates:
Following are the billing and payment due dates of Canara banks Visa Classic / MasterCard Standard credit card.
- Canara Card Visa Classic: Billing date is 20th of every month and the payment due date is 10th of the succeeding month.
- Canara card MasterCard Standard: Billing date is last day of every month and the payment due date is 20th of the succeeding month.
