German luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz launched Edition E in the E-Class series on February 24, 2016 as part of its celebration of 20 years of production in the country. This refreshed version of E-Class will be priced between between Rs 48.60 lakh and Rs 60.61 lakh.
Mercedes-Benz has sold more than 32,000 units of the E-Class series since it started to produce them in India in 1995. The E-Class has the distinction of being the first luxury car to be made in India.
The Edition E comes with such features as thermotronic automatic AC, memory seats with 3 settings, Active Park with read camera, 8 airbags, adaptive brake lights, Intelligent Light System and Neck-Pro head restraints for the driver and the front passenger.
The three variants of Edition E — E 200 Edition E, E 250 CDI Edition E and E 350 CDI Edition E are priced at Rs 48.60 lakh, Rs 50.76 lakh and Rs 60.61 lakh, respectively.
