The policy covers dependent children of up to 26 years of age and adults from 18-65 years of age. Premium is inclusive of 18% service tax.
(e) Discount Benefits
- Discount of 10 percent will be granted if the insured person resides in Tier-2 locations.
- Tier 1 includes metropolitan cities like Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkotta, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Gurgaon.
- Tier 2 locations include remaining parts of India excluding tier-1 locations.

Exclusions under Chola Healthline
- Two Year Exclusion Rule: Cost of treatments of mentioned diseases within the start of first 2 years of policy will not be admissible: All types of Hernia, Hydrocele, Chronic Renal Failure, Joint Replacement of Surgery unless caused by accident. Congenial Internal Anomaly, Varicose veins and varicose ulcers, treatment on diseases of ears/tonsils/adenoids/paranasal sinuses/Deviated Nasal Septum, Stones in the urinary and biliary systems, Gastric or duodenal ulcers, Any type of benign Cyst/ Nodules/ Polpys/ Tumours/ Breast lumps, Intervertebral Disc Prolapse, and Degenerative disc disorders, Cataract, Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy, Myomectomy, Hysterectomy unless because of malignancy, Dilatation etc. Any Previously Existing Disease(PED), Policy benefits will not be given for any pre-existing medical condition as mentioned in the policy until 48 months consecutive months of coverage policy has elapsed, since starting of the policy with the company

Filing claims with Chola Healthline
If you are insured under the health insurance policies of Cholamandalam General Insurance Company Limited is hospitalized in any of the network hospitals, you need not pay any money for availing the treatment up to the sum insured. However, this will be based on the terms and conditions of the Chola Health Insurance Policies. You will have to approach the Third Party Administrator (TPA) desk of the network hospital and submit the necessary documents. The hospital will intimate Chola Health Insurance for the authorization of the treatment. If the insurance company denies the request, no coverage will be provided, and the insured will have to bear all the charges incurred during treatment. If the insurance company accepts the request, the charges applicable for the treatment based on the sum assured under the plan.
Renewal Process with Chola Healthline
For renewal, grace period of 30 days is allowed from the date of expiry previous policy. However policyholders cannot take benefits of claim during the grace period.
Surrender of Policy
Policyholders can cancel the policy by giving at least 15 days notice in written form. However, if the policy is canceled by the policyholders himself, company will retain a part of premium with itself for the period which policyholder was covered under the policy.
