IDFC FIRST Bank has recently updated the income eligibility requirement for its lifetime free credit cards. Currently, you require an annual income of Rs. 36 Lakh and above, to apply for IDFC FIRST Wealth Credit Card. To know more about your eligibility, you may contact the bank directly.
What does Cash advance fee of Rs. 250 per transaction is Applicable mean in a wealth credit card?
A cash advance fee or cash withdrawal fee is applicable when you use your credit card to withdraw cash through an ATM. This is a one-time fee, charged over and above the withdrawn amount. Usually, a cash withdrawal fee is charged along with the finance charges, thereby is not an advisable form of credit. However, IDFC FIRST Credit Card offers interest-free cash withdrawal for up to 48 days, on most credit cards. Thereby, you pay only a one-time charge, plus the withdrawal amount.
For instance, if you withdraw Rs. 10,000 using your card, you will be liable to pay Rs. 10,000+ cash withdrawal fee. Thus, Rs. 10,000 + Rs. 250 = Rs. 10,250, in the case of IDFC FIRST Wealth Credit Card.
