Cardholders can check their credit card balance from anyplace and at any time with the bank’s online portal. It can be accessed either from the website or through the app as well. This is increasingly becoming the most preferred way by customers especially when on the go.
Steps for registration (First time users) on SBI Card Online
To use the SBI Card Online services, one needs to first register on SBI Card website. This is a one-time registration process. Steps for the same are:
- Visit the SBI CardOnline website
- Click on the link for “First time user”
- Enter the required information
- SBI Credit Card number
- The three digit CVV number (As mentioned on the back of the credit card)
- “Valid through” details
- Date of Birth in the mentioned format
Once all the mandatory fields are complete, click on the “Proceed” button.
- The website will generate a One-Time Password(OTP) and send it to the registered mobile number as per the bank’s records.
- Enter the OTP in the required box and click on “Proceed” once again.
- The site will ask for the preferred details (User ID and password). Once all the details are entered, click on “Confirm”.
- The system will send a confirmation message once the User Name and password generation process is complete.
- For subsequent visits to the SBI Card Online website, use these details to login.
How to Check SBI Credit Card Balance Online
In order to check the SBI Credit Card balance online, log on to the SBI Card website using the User ID and Password. Upon login, the account summary of the card is displayed on the home page. It includes details like outstanding balance, credit and cash limit, payment history and due dates. You can also get access to the full statement in case you wish to understand the outstanding amount in detail.
2. Offline
Customers can also make use of multiple offline platforms to check their SBI Credit Card balance.
- Visit to the branch
Customers can visit any of the bank’s branches and enquire about their card details. One should carry with them the necessary documents or ID Proofs while visiting the branch for authentication purpose.
- Through an ATM
One can also visit a SBI ATM and check the outstanding balance. The four-digit PIN Code needs to be used for this purpose.
- Call the customer care team
In case one wants to check the balance without really venturing out, he or she can call up the customer helpdesk for the information.
