- Avail lump-sum payment of 100% sum insured in case of hospitalization of the insured due to following diseases :

- The scope of the policy is limited to the above disease only and based on certain parameters of the disease.
- Once it is established that the nature of the claim is within the scope of the policy, you shall be paid a lump-sum payment of 100% sum insured, irrespective of actual expenses.
- Once sum insured is decided in the policy document, it will be maintained constant throughout policy tenure. You will have an option to alter the sum insured at the time of renewal of the policy.
- In case of a claim, sum insured is exhausted. While paying you the claim, the company will deduct the proportionate amount to reinstate your sum insured so that you can remain protected through-out the policy tenure.
- There is no need for any medical examination of this insurance. The person of eligible age can select the sum insured of his choice and avail the insurance without undergoing a medical examination.

- Compile necessary documents within 15 days of discharge from the hospital.
- In case of delay, you must write to the insurance company for the reason of delay that is beyond your control.
- Upon satisfactory receipt of every document, the claim is paid within 30 days.
- In case the claim needs investigation, the claim is paid within 45 days.
- The days are counted from the date of receipt of every document by the insurance company.

Exclusions under Future Vector Care Plan
- Any claim less than 24 hours of hospitalization is not covered.
- The claim raised within 15 days of availing policy is not paid.
- The vector policy is limited to the diseases mentioned in the policy. Any disease not listed in the policy document is not covered.
- Dental surgery, obesity treatment, mental illness are excluded.
- The pre-existing disease is covered after a specified waiting period.
- The coverage outside India is limited to countries mentioned in Future Generali website, and the list is subjected to review periodically.
How Long Does It Take to Payout a Claim?
Future Generali has in-house claim processing unit. Thanks to such a facility, the claim under vector policy are processed and paid within 30 days from the receipt of the claim form and necessary documents. To avail the payment on time, consider sending every document related to the treatment and filling the claim form completely.
Renewal Process of Future Generali Future Vector Care
Policyholders can renew the plan through mutual consent with the company. In this case, renewal premium shall be paid to the company by the policyholder before the date of expiry of policy.

Once the insurance company pays you the claim, you cannot make another claim within 60 days from the date of admission of the claim. Such a period of 60 days is called a cooling off period.

Once the claim is accepted, your sum insured is exhausted. Future Generali company reinstate the sum insured by way of deduction of the premium from the payable claims. The deduction will be on pro-rata basis for the remaining period of policy claim.
