HDFC Credit Card Payment through Net Banking

If you have opted for online banking with your HDFC Bank account, you can login to your account, view your credit card bill and make the payment easily. • Select the credit card and click on ‘Pay’
• Select the amount you wish to pay- total outstanding or minimum amount due, else enter a preferred amount

Once you pay, the amount will be deducted from your HDFC Bank Savings/Current account and credited into your HDFC Credit Card Account.

HDFC Credit Card Bill Payment through Mobile Banking

You can visit the HDFC mobile website at m.hdfcbank.com in a mobile browser to access your HDFC account from any mobile device with an internet connection. You can make HDFC online payment instantly by signing in to your HDFC Bank netbanking account using your net banking ID and password. You must have internet banking enabled to avail this service. Follow the steps mentioned below for HDFC credit card bill payment through Mobile Banking:

• Visit m.hdfcbank.com on your mobile phone
• Login using your customer ID and Password
• Go to the ‘Cards’ section where you can find details of all your credit cards
• Select the credit card and click on ‘Pay’ button
• Select the amount you wish to pay – total outstanding or minimum amount due, else enter a preferred amount

Once you pay, the amount will be deducted from your HDFC Bank savings/current account and credited into your HDFC credit card account.

HDFC Credit Card Bill Payment through HDFC Bank Mobile App

Another convenient way for HDFC credit card payment is by using the HDFC mobile banking app. Just download the app and make the payment instantly by signing in to your HDFC Bank netbanking account using your customer ID and password. You need to go to the credit card tab and choose “Credit Card Payment” to make the bill payment.

• Login using your customer ID and Password
• Select ‘Credit Card’ from the bottom menu. Here you can find details of all your credit cards
• Click on ‘Credit Card Payment’
• Select the account through which you want to make the payment and the right credit card
• Choose the amount to be paid- total outstanding or minimum amount due, else enter a preferred amount
• Click on ‘Pay Bill’

The amount will be instantly deducted from your HDFC Bank Savings/Current account and credited into your HDFC Credit Card Account.

Online Payment Using a non-HDFC Account

You do not need to open an HDFC Bank account to have an HDFC credit card as you can also pay your credit card bill using a non-HDFC Bank account. There are plenty of online modes of HDFC Bank credit card bill payment to clear your credit card dues using a non-HDFC Bank account. Some of them are mentioned here:

HDFC Credit Card NEFT Payment (National Electronic Funds Transfer) 

Pay your HDFC Bank credit card bill from any other bank account through NEFT using Credit Card IFSC code. The instructions may vary slightly in different banks. However, in most cases you need to follow a similar procedure as mentioned below:

• Login to your bank’s net banking portal using your ID and password
• From the Funds Transfer, select NEFT
• Go to the ‘Add Beneficiary’ section. Enter your credit card number in place of Beneficiary Account Number, Name on Card in place of Beneficiary Name and HDFC credit card IFSC Code which is HDFC0000128
• Once the beneficiary is added successfully, enter the amount to be paid
• Review the details, accept the terms and conditions, and pay

HDFC Credit Card Payment through RTGS (Real-Time Gross Settlement) Using IFSC Code

• Login to your preferred bank’s net banking portal
• Select RTGS under ‘Funds Transfer’
• You will have to add the HDFC Bank’s credit card as beneficiary. The steps are given below. Jump to the next step if you have already added the card as a beneficiary
  • Beneficiary Account Number will be HDFC Bank’s credit card number
  • Beneficiary Name will be your name as printed on the HDFC Bank credit card
  • Enter HDFC credit card payment IFSC Code – HDFC0000128
• Select the HDFC credit card from the list of beneficiaries and enter the amount to be paid
• Review the details and then pay the amount

HDFC Credit Card Bill Payment through Bill Desk

Non-HDFC Bank account holders can go to the HDFC Credit Card Bill Desk and pay their bills.

• Visit the HDFC Credit Card Bill Desk
• Enter your 16-digit credit card number, email ID and the amount to be paid
• Choose the bank through which you want to make payment. You will be redirected to the respective bank’s net banking portal
• Login using your ID and Password
• Authorised the payment by entering the OTP received on your registered mobile number

The payment will be credited into your HDFC Bank credit card account within 3 working days. If it does not, you can contact HDFC credit card customer care for status.

Non-HDFC Bank’s Website

If you do not hold an HDFC Bank account, you can make the credit card bill payment by logging in to your bank’s website using your net banking ID and password and transfer the due amount. The bill payment is credited to your HDFC Bank account within 2 working days.

HDFC Credit Card Bill Payment through UPI Using HDFC Credit Card Payment IFSC Code

HDFC allows users to pay their credit card bills via UPI. UPI payments require UPI ID or Account number and IFSC Code First time users need to register themselves for funds transfer via UPI.

Registration

• Login to your Bank’s mobile banking App
• Under Account click on UPI
• You will be asked to send an SMS that will bind your mobile. Send it
• Create a UPI ID. You may use your mobile number 9876******@bankname
• Select an account number to link the UPI ID with

Payment

• Login to your Mobile Banking app
• Click on Pay
• Click on UPI Payment
• Select ‘Send Money’
• Pay via UPI ID or Account number and HDFC credit card payment IFSC Code
• Enter the amount, Remarks, and pay the amount

HDFC Credit Card Bill Payment through VISA CardPay

If you hold an HDFC Bank account and have registered for net banking, you can pay your HDFC Bank credit card bill through VISA CardPay.

• Login using your customer ID and Password on your preferred bank’s net banking portal
• Go to Third Party Funds Transfer tab and select Visa CardPay
• Enter the sender and receiver details
• Select the account through which you want to make the payment
• Enter your 16-digit credit card number and confirm the same
• Enter the amount and pay

The amount will be credited within 2 working days. A nominal transaction fee of Rs. 5 is charged when you use this method for HDFC credit card bill payment.

Note: HDFC Credit Cardholders with VISA cards can only make bill payments through VISA CardPay.

• You can pay your credit card dues by paying cash at any of the HDFC Bank branches in your city
• The bank levies a processing fee of Rs. 100 per payment when you pay your credit card bill in cash

HDFC Credit Card Bill Payment through ATM

• You can pay the credit card bill by depositing money at any of the HDFC Bank ATM
• If you hold a Savings or Current Account in HDFC Bank, then you can transfer your HDFC Bank credit card bill payment amount to your credit card account to clear your credit card dues through the ATM

HDFC Credit Card Bill Payment through Cheque

• You can also make HDFC credit card payment in a similar manner as you did for cash payments
• You can drop your cheque mentioning the credit card number and other required details in the drop boxes at their ATMs across India

HDFC Credit Card Bill Payment through Standing Instructions

• You can register for autopay from your HDFC Bank account to set up standing instructions
• The bank will deduct either the minimum amount due or the total monthly outstanding amount on your credit card based on the instruction you set up
• You will never have to worry about getting late to make credit card bill payment since the bank will do it for you on the specified date during the billing cycle
