Higher Limits: HDFC EasyShop Platinum debit card offers higher limits around Daily shopping and ATM withdrawals for up to Rs. 5 Lakh and Rs. 2 Lakh respectively. You can modify the cash withdrawal and shopping limits as per your convenience via HDFC Bank NetBanking upto the prescribed limits.

Cash Withdrawal at POS: Note that with the HDFC platinum debit cards you can avail cash withdrawal facility across merchant POS for up to Rs. 2,000 per day. The limit is capped at Rs. 10,000 per month.

Cashback Benefits: Similar to HDFC Credit Cards, the bank has also extended the cashback facility to its Easy Shop Platinum Debit Cards.  You get 1 cashpoint for every Rs. 200 you spend across Telecom, Utilities, Grocery, Apparels, Supermarket, Entertainment and Restaurants. Fuel Surcharge: You do not need to pay any surcharge for fuel transactions done via the HDFC Bank swipe machines.

Insurance Benefits: This debit card offers insurance benefits as well such as death cover for air/road/travel for up to Rs. 12 Lakhs, International air coverage of Rs. 3 Crore (on purchasing air ticket with this debit card), Fire & Burglary cover of Rs. 2 Lakh (for items purchased with the card), loss of checked baggage cover of Rs. 2 Lakh and zero liability cover in case of card loss.

The application process for HDFC Bank EasyShop Debit Card functions both offline and online. For the offline process, you need to first print the downloaded application form and fill it. Submit this form at your nearest HDFC Bank branch. On submission and verification, the debit card is delivered to your mailing address. For the online application process, you can use HDFC Bank NetBanking or visit the bank’s official website.
