HDFC Bank Business Platinum Credit Card: Features & Benefits

Cashback- Cashback is available for all spends, including 1% Cashback on all retail spends on a minimum balance of ₹ 50,000. There is a Flat 1% Cashback on international spends of ₹ 10,000 +available to all business travellers. You also get 0.5% cash back on a minimum balance of ₹ 10,000. Note that the cashback offer is not applicable for wallet uploads, fuel bills or international spending.

Fuel surcharge waiver- Card holders can also avail fuel surcharge waiver on fuel transactions worth ₹ 400-5000. You can get a max waiver of ₹ 500 per statement cycle.

There is zero liability on lost cards and fraudulent transactions  made of the card. This means the user would not be liable for any transaction made after he reports such loss or fraudulent activity on the card.

The card provides exclusive access to airport lounges around the country.

Renewal Fee Waiver- You can obtain a renewal fee waiver if you spend upwards of ₹ 30,000 in one year before the renewal date.

SmartPay– You can use SmartPay to pay your utility bills with your Business Platinum Credit Card.

Fees applicable to HDFC Bank Business Platinum Credit Card

The following are the fees applicable to the Business Platinum card –

  1. There is a joining fee of ₹ 299 and an annual recurring fee of ₹ 299 for the card.
  2. There is a Goods and Services Tax (GST) at 18% applicable on the card. GST levied will not be reversed on any dispute of charges/fees.
  3. For any foreign currency transaction, there is a 3.5% mark-up fee applicable.
  4. There is a cash withdrawal charge of 2.5% on the amount withdrawn or a flat fee of ₹ 300 depending on which is higher.
  5. The max interest rate for defaulting is around 3.75% per month (or 45% p.a.).
