  • 3% CashPoints of up to 500 points per month on PayZapp transactions, groceries, supermarket and dining spends
  • 2% CashPoints of up to 500 points per month on utility spends
  • 1% CashPoints of up to 500 points per month on other purchases, except on rent, insurance, wallet loads, EMI, fuel and government spends

If you wish to avail reward benefits on UPI payments, then you can choose to get HDFC RuPay UPI credit card as it provides you with rewards even on your UPI transactions, unlike other cards. This card is also a good option for those who prefer earning rewards in the form of cashback points and paying a low annual fee.
It offers a 3% cashback on dining, groceries, supermarket and PayZapp spends. Generally, there are very few credit cards that offer rewards on utility spends, but HDFC UPI RuPay credit card gives you 2% CashPoints on such payments. Moreover, the card fee can also be waived off on spending just Rs. 25,000 using the card in a year.

This card comes with great cashback points benefits and is quite affordable. It gives its users flexibility and convenience of UPI payments as well. However, its cashback points are capped at 500 points per month according to the spending categories.
You can redeem these points against the catalogue or against the card balance at the conversion rate of 1 CashPoint = Rs. 0.25.

Q. Can I link HDFC bank UPI RuPay credit card in other UPI apps?

A. Yes, HDFC RuPay UPI card can be linked to other UPI app by using the following steps-
Step 1: Set up credit card PIN by calling on the HDFC IVR number 1860 266 0333.
Step 2: Download any UPI app of your choice and log in.
Step 3: Register your HDFC UPI RuPay card by using the credit card PIN.

Q. Is there any limit to the number of UPI transactions I can make using HDFC UPI RuPay credit card?

A. No, there is no limit to the number of transactions you can make with your credit card that you have linked on UPI. Although, the amount of transaction may have certain limitations which can vary from one individual to another.

Q. Why can’t I make UPI payments using my HDFC RuPay credit card after its renewal?

A. This can happen because you have not registered the card on UPI again. Once your HDFC UPI credit card is renewed or replaced, you are required to re-register on the respective UPI apps with the updated card details to be able to continue making UPI payments.

Q. Is there any minimum transaction amount required to be eligible for CashPoints on HDFC bank UPI RuPay card?

A. Yes, only the transactions of Rs. 100 and above made via HDFC RuPay UPI credit card are eligible for earning CashPoints. However, the spends made via SmartBuy platform are not eligible for any CashPoint.
