To ensure proper implementation of the act, the government has set up authorities in each state. One such body or authority that is responsible for the promotion and regulation of the seal estate sector in Gujarat is Gujarat Real Estate Regulatory Authority (GUJRERA).

How to register for GUJRERA?
To register for RERA Act in Gujarat, follow these steps:
- Visit the official GUJRERA website: https://gujrera.gujarat.gov.in/
- Click on ‘Project Registration’ if you are a promoter or a developer. Click on ‘Agent Registration’ if you are a real estate agent
- A dialog box will appear featuring links to a few checklists, which you must read before filling the application online. Read the checklist and close the dialog box
- Select the Promotor Type, provide your Email IDand click on ‘Next’
- Enter the OTP (One-time password) that you might have received on your email ID
- Thereon, fill the form and pay the fees to complete the registration process

For Promoters
The steps that promoters can follow to know their RERA Gujarat application status are:
- Visit the official GUJRERA website: https://gujrera.gujarat.gov.in/
- Select the ‘Know project application status’ option from the ‘Misc Payment & Utility’
- Select how you want to know your RERA application status:
- Acknowledgement No.– If you choose this option, provide the acknowledgement number
- Project Name– Provide the project name and email ID after choosing this option
- Alteration/Extension Application No. – On selecting this option, you will have to provide the alteration/extension application number
- Click on ‘Search’ to view results
For Agents
The steps that real estate agents can follow to know their RERA Gujarat application status are:
- Visit the official GUJRERA website: https://gujrera.gujarat.gov.in/
- Select the ‘Know agent application status’ option from the ‘Misc Payment & Utility’
- Provide your Acknowledgement Numberand PAN Card details

- Particulars of registration (proprietorship/partnership/company/society, etc.) including the memorandum of association, bye-laws and articles of association
- Name, contact details, address and a photograph of the real estate agent, if an individual. For a partnership form/company/LLP, provide name, contact details, address and photographs of partners, directors, etc.
