Adani Group, in collaboration with ICICI Bank, has launched co-branded credit cards largely catering to travel and lifestyle segment. Offered in two variants – Adani One ICICI Platinum and Adani One ICICI Signature, these credit cards offer generous rewards to the users, particularly within the Adani ecosystem. Cardholders can earn up to 7% value back through reward points on spends within the Adani Group and redeem them for services like flight/ hotel bookings, spends at Adani-operated airports, store purchases, and more through the Adani One app.

Adani One has entered the financial sector with its co-branded credit cards in collaboration with ICICI Bank. Both variants – Platinum and Signature offer benefits around card activation, renewal benefits, airport-linked services, lounge access, reward earnings, and redemption. Cardholders can earn Adani reward points, which can be used for travel services and bookings through the Adani One portal. With the Signature variant, cardholders can earn up to 7% value back through Adani reward points on spends across the Adani ecosystem, such as the Adani One app, Adani-managed airports, Adani electricity bills, etc. The Platinum variant offers a 3% return on similar spends.

For frequent travellers, these cards offer basic benefits with limited lounge access visits. While the Signature variant offers domestic & international lounge visits, the Platinum variant offers access only to domestic lounges.

Moreover, cardholders can access premium airport-linked services like premium lounge upgrades, meet-and-greet services, premium car parking, porter services, and much more. These features make the cards stand out, especially the Signature variant, as even premium cards like Axis Magnus are removing airport-linked benefits like meet-and-greet services.

While these cards primarily focus on travel and lifestyle benefits, the buy one get one offer on movie ticket bookings at BookMyShow adds to their value. Both cards surpass their joining fees by a wide margin. While the Platinum variant gives you joining benefits worth Rs. 5,000 for a joining fee of Rs. 750, the Signature variant offers joining benefits worth Rs. 9,000 for a joining fee of Rs. 5,000. Both cards, like other co-branded cards such as MMT ICICI or IDFC Club Vistara, offer welcome benefits in the form of vouchers of the collaborated brand. Considering these are co-branded cards, it is obvious that they offer accelerated reward points on Adani One spends. With the signature variant, you can earn a 7% reward rate on your spends, including travel, electricity, gas, and more, when made through the Adani One app. Additionally, a notable feature of these cards is that they offer 0.5% value back on mostly overlooked categories like utilities and insurance. While a value back of 0.5% is comparatively low, it is significant because even premium cards usually exclude these categories from their rewards program.

Adani Reward Points Redemption

Cardholders can redeem the accumulated Adani reward points across multiple categories, such as flight/ hotel bookings, duty-free spends at Adani-operated airports, cab services, train/ bus bookings, in-store purchases, porter services, car parking, holiday bookings, and much more, through the Adani One reward catalogue or mobile app.

Besides the rewards catalogue, cardholders can also convert YES Bank reward points into Adani reward points at a value of 400 YES Bank Reward Points = 100 Adani Reward Points. However, this conversion value varies from card to card.

Both cards offer lounge access benefits, but the Platinum variant does not offer any international lounge benefits. Considering its annual fee, this can’t really be seen as a drawback since credit cards in this fee range typically don’t offer such benefits. As for the Signature variant, while the domestic lounge access is adequate, only 2 international lounge visits per year is quite limited, especially for a premium credit card that charges an annual fee of Rs. 5,000. Other all-rounder cards like SBI Elite, HDFC Regalia Gold, or Axis Select offer better international lounge access frequency at a comparatively lower annual fee, along with complimentary Priority Pass membership.
