I have applied for a credit card. When will I get it? Issuing of a new credit card usually takes up to 21 working days. You can track your ICICI credit card application status here.

Can I pay rent with my ICICI Credit Card? Yes, you can use your ICICI credit card to pay rent. However, with effect from October 20, 2022, all rent payment transactions with ICICI credit card will be charged with 1% fee.

What happens when my credit card is damaged or lost? In case of a credit card theft, loss or damage, immediately inform the ICICI Bank customer care to get the card hotlisted and blocked. You can also consider SMS banking using your registered mobile number.

Can I keep my credit card if I move to another country? The credit cards issued by ICICI Bank are global cards only for Resident Indians. Thus, as per RBI guidelines, the customer needs to clear all outstanding dues on the card and surrender it to the card issuer before they give up their Indian citizenship. This procedure is mandatory for Indian citizens who are in the process of becoming citizens of another country.

Can I make purchases online using my ICICI Bank Credit Card? Yes. Your ICICI Bank credit card is enabled with the online purchase option and you can use it to make purchases on the website of all domestic online retailers as well as a few international retailers.

What do I do if my credit card is declined? This may be possible due to various reasons. ICICI Bank credit card holders are required to call up Customer Care Centre of the ICICI bank in case payment is declined on their credit card.

What happens if I cross my credit limit? If the customer makes the transaction that exceeds the available credit limit, it totally depends upon the issuer whether to approve the transaction or not. If the transaction is approved an over-limit charge of 2.5% of the amount which exceeds the credit limit is applicable.

When are interest charges applicable on ICICI Credit Card? The customer has to pay the interest on the total amount due which is not paid on the due date. The interest is charged on the total outstanding amount and also on the fresh transactions made till date as the previous outstanding amount is required to be paid in full. The interest is also levied on the cash advances from the date of the transaction to the due date.

How do I pay my credit card bill? You can make ICICI Credit Card payments through both online and offline modes. To pay your bill online, you can use facilities like net banking, mobile banking ICICI Bank mobile app, Billdesk and debit card. However, if you want to pay your card bills offline, then you can visit any of the nearest branch and pay via cheque or cash.

What happens if I pay more than the Total Amount Due? The excess amount paid is reflected in the monthly statement of the customer and is adjusted against the future purchases.
