Loan Services Provided by the Bank
The existing customers of IDBI Bank Home Loan having a ‘loan only’ relationship with IDBI Bank can generate their TPIN with the help of customer ID and follow the procedure of IVR to get a code of their choice by clicking 4 in the main menu section of phone banking which pertains to “Loans”.
The following are the services offered by the bank through phone banking for borrowers:
- Check outstanding balance
- Last five transactions/EMI deductions
- Request for provisional certificate
- Request for loan account statement

Grievance Redressal
The grievance redressal system of the bank is divided into three levels wherein home loan customers can register through diverse channels including Phone Banking, Website, Branch, Emails and Letters.
Level 1
The aggrieved customer can visit the branch or unit head for any grievances or complaints. The other alternative methods include:

Fill and Submit an Online Complaint Form
The customer can fill in the complaint form available under the grievance redressal section of the preferred banking page of the website. The concerned customer has to fill out details such as customer ID, account number, mobile number, Email ID and complaint type to carry out the resolution process. Only one complaint can be registered at a time. Also customers can track complaints through the “Track Complaint Status” option.

A unique Complaint ID will be generated once the complaint is registered with the bank. If the concerned customer doesn’t receive a response within 8 working days of registering the complaint or is not satisfied with the reply, they can escalate their complaint to Level II with the help of the Complaint ID generated.
The concerned customer shall fill in the following details while registering a grievance:
- Full name
- Account details (account number/customer ID), for existing customer
- Contact details (address, telephone number & email)
- Reference number of Transaction or Complaint ID, depending on the purpose of contact
Further, the Bank has appointed an Internal Ombudsman (IO) as per the Bank’s Internal Ombudsman Scheme.
Level 2
The concerned customer can communicate with Grievance Redressal Officers (GROs) from Monday to Saturday between 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (except the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month) if the response received at Level 1 is not satisfactory within 6 days of registering the complaint.
The consumer has to fill in the grievance form available under the grievance redressal section of the preferred banking page of the website.
