IDBI Mutual Fund AMC, a leading fund house in India, has launched the IDBI Focus 30 Equity Fund new fund offer (NFO), according to recently published Moneycontrol report. The IDBI Focus 30 Equity Fund is an open ended equity scheme which will invest at least 65% of its corpus in large cap equities. Apart from its equity investments, the fund would also invest the balance corpus in various debt and money market instruments. The NFO of this equity scheme is currently ongoing and will be available to investors till the 13th of November 2017 according to the report.
The Moneycontrol report also stated that the scheme would be available as both regular and direct plans with growth and dividend options. For NFO investment, the minimum lump sum amount is fixed at Rs. 5000 with higher amounts allowed in multiples of Re. 1 thereafter. The report also mentions that subsequent to launch, the scheme is expected to feature an exit load of 1% if redemption is made within 12 months calculated from the date of unit allotment.
