Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC), set up in 1955, is the apex body that caters to the investment and promotional needs of the growing engineering sector. Sponsored by Government of India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry, EEPC acts as the prominent union between the engineering industry and the government besides acting as a counselling body for formulation of policies with the Government.
As India’s export of engineering goods stands at $81 billion in the year 2018-19, the council’s massive support would render more opportunities for the 13,000 members, out of which, notably, Small and Micro Enterprises account for 60%. EEPC, as a unit of the Export Promotions Council, actively works towards helping Medium, Small, and Micro Enterprises (MSME’s) through supplying information on investments, technology, and promotions from its expositions and periodicals. Engineering exports incorporations registered with the EEPC have additional credibility while they are applying for a working capital loan, export bill discounting, trade finances, etc.
