IRCTC RBL Bank Credit Card is designed to offer accelerated benefits for those who frequently book train, flight, and hotel reservations through IRCTC. With this card, users can earn 2.5% value back (5 points per Rs. 200) on train ticket bookings and 1% value back (2 points per Rs. 200) on flights, hotels, and cruises booked via IRCTC. Unlike other IRCTC credit cards such as SBI IRCTC Platinum and IRCTC HDFC Bank, which limit their accelerated benefits to IRCTC transactions, this card also offers 1.5% value back (3 points per Rs. 200) on FASTag recharges.
In addition to these benefits, cardholders can earn a base reward rate of 1 point per Rs. 200 on other categories. Similar to other IRCTC credit cards, the accumulated reward points can be redeemed on IRCTC at a 1:1 ratio. Furthermore, the card offers 8 complimentary railway lounge visits annually and 1% transaction surcharge waiver on train ticket bookings through IRCTC. The card also offers up to 1,000 bonus reward points through joining and milestone benefits.
If you’re someone who frequently travels by train and prefers booking through IRCTC, this credit card could be a practical choice. It not only offers accelerated reward points on IRCTC train bookings but also extends to flight and hotel bookings, as well as FASTag recharges. However, keep in mind that this is a basic co-branded card, primarily rewarding your IRCTC spending, and it does not offer any travel-related benefits beyond railway lounge access. If you’re looking for more comprehensive rewards and travel benefits, then you should probably look out for other cards.
