HDFC Pension Fund is part of the HDFC group, one of India’s largest financial conglomerates. It launched its first NPS funds in 2013. It is currently lead by Mr. Sumit Shukla who was earlier head of direct channels at HDFC Life Insurance. At present, HDFC Pension Fund is India’s top performing pension fund on a three and five year basis.

Sumit Shukla
HDFC Pension Fund is led by Mr. Sumit Shukla as its Chief Executive Officer and had earlier head Direct Channels at HDFC Life.
Fagun Pancholi
Mr. Fagun Pancholi is the Chief Financial Officer of HDFC Pension Fund and is associated with HDFC since November 2005.
Vishwas Katela
Mr. Vishwas Katela acts as the institution’s Chief Investment Officer and has been a key member of HDFC Life investment team, having managed equity funds and covered multiple sectors.
Ashish Narula
Mr. Ashish Narula acts as HFDC Pension Fund’s Chief Investment Officer and its Fund Manager. He has over 14 years of experience in financial markets with exposure to different products in equity as well as fixed income.
