Have you retired just recently and want to withdraw your EPF savings? This is how you can digitally withdraw your EPF balance in a hassle-free manner. However, you can make the withdrawal online only if your UAN is activated and is linked to your Aadhaar.
EPF Withdrawal Procedure (Online)
You can follow these steps to initiate the EPF withdrawal claim post-retirement.
1) Go to EPFO Member e-SEWA portal.
2) Log in with your UAN, password and captcha.
3) On the top menu bar, click on the “Online Services” tab and select “Claim (Form 31, 19 and 10C)” option from the drop-down menu.
4) You will be directed to a page showing member details where you need to enter last 4 digits of your bank account number for verification.
5) Click on “Yes” to sign the certificate of the undertaking
6) Now click on “Proceed for Online Claim Option”.
7) You will the option “I want to apply for”, a drop-down box would appear clicking on that.
8) Select the appropriate option under which you want to claim the EPF withdrawal. Form 31 is applicable for partial EPF withdrawal, Form 19 is for final EPF settlement and Form10C is used for EPS withdrawal.
9) After selecting the right option, you need to fill in some other details like “Employee Address”
10) Finally, you need to certify the authenticity of the information furnished to be verified using your Aadhaar credentials. Check that box right.
11) Click on “Generate Aadhaar OTP”
12) An OTP will come to your registered mobile number, please enter that.
