Paytm SBI Credit Card is an entry-level low-fee card suitable for those who shop frequently through Paytm. You can get high cashback on movies, travel and Paytm mall purchases along with 1% flat cashback on all other spends. Credit cards is best suited for cashback on online spends. It is one of the two co-branded credit cards that Paytm launched in partnership with SBI Card, the other variant being Paytm SBI Card Select. Read on to know in-detail benefits of this credit card.

Paytm SBI Card: Features & Benefits

Given below are the unique features of Paytm SBI Card:

Welcome Benefits: After making the first successful transaction using Paytm SBI Card, you are entitled to get a complimentary Paytm First Membership with benefits of up to Rs. 75,000. This membership is valid for 12 months from the date of activation. Once the complimentary membership period of 12 months ends, you have to renew the same by paying applicable charges.

Cashback Offers:

Up to 5% cashback on all travel, movies, and many more services, on every transaction. There is no capping on the number of times you can avail cashback. Here are the details:

Milestone Offer: On spending Rs. 1 lakh in a year, you can get a Paytm First Membership Voucher at renewal. For a low annual fee card, the spending milestone of Rs. 1 lakh seems quite reasonable. Also, SBI Card has the same milestone on its other cards in the same fee range, such as SBI SimplySAVE and SBI SimplyCLICK.

Fuel Surcharge Waiver: 1% fuel surcharge waiver on every transaction ranging from Rs. 500 to Rs. 3,000. The maximum surcharge waiver per statement cycle is Rs. 100 for Paytm SBI Credit Card.

Cyber Fraud Insurance: You are entitled to get insurance cover of Rs. 1 lakh for financial loss due to fraudulent usage of a credit card. This is a unique feature for a card in its fee range. You can avail these benefits as per the below details:

  • This insurance prevents you from any kind of misuse/abuse of the credit card
  • Gross negligence is not covered
  • Any claim due to deliberate breach of the law would not be payable
  • Only chip & pin-based cards are covered under this policy
  • Claims should be reported within 45 days from the fraud transaction date

Paytm SBI Card is only provided to selected customers of Paytm. However, to avail this card, you have to meet the below eligibility criteria:

How to Apply for Paytm SBI Card?

Paytm SBI Card is currently not provided by Paisabazaar. However, you can apply for the card online via Paytm app. To apply via the app, follow these steps:

Step 1- Log into your Paytm app.

Step 2- Select ‘Show More’ and tap on the ‘Loans and Credit Card’ section or you can also search ‘Credit Card’ in the Paytm search bar.

Step 3- Click on the ‘Apply Now’ option and proceed with your application.

What is the credit limit offered by Paytm SBI Card?

The credit limit for Paytm SBI Card is defined by SBI Card basis its internal policies.  The assigned limit could range from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 10 lakh.
