Flexipay Facility – Purchases over Rs 2,500 can be converted into EMIs which charge nominal interest rate. This facility is valid for 30 days post purchase date.

Easy Bill Pay Facility – Standing instructions can be given to automate utility bill payments.

Easy Money Facility – Get a draft or cheque home delivered. They will be issued against the cash limit on the credit card.

Balance Transfer Facility – Outstanding balance on other banks’ credit card account can be transferred to this card and paid off through EMIs that charge low rate of interest.

Add-on Card – Customers can avail add-on credit cards for immediate family members. Immediate family members include spouses, parents, children and siblings. Applicants must be above 18 years of age.

Reward Points – Reward Points are earned in the following manner:

• 10 Reward Points are earned per Rs. 100 spent on Dining, Movies, Departmental Stores & Grocery (including CSD canteen) spends
• 2 Reward Point are earned per Rs. 100 spent on other categories
• Do note that the reward points are not earned on Fuel, Cash & S2S transactions

Reward Points can be used as Statement Credit or to purchase items, voucher, etc. in the SBI Rewards Catalogue.

Renewal Benefit – Pay annual fee to get 1500 Reward Points.

Milestone Benefits – Following Milestone Benefits can be availed:

• Get Pizza Hut voucher that is worth Rs. 500 on spending Rs. 50,000 or more in a calendar quarter
• Get a voucher worth Rs.7,000 from Yatra (travel booking site) or Pantaloons (apparel store) on spending Rs. 5 lakh or more
• Spend Rs. 1.50 lakh or more in a year and get waiver on next year’s annual fee waiver

Voucher codes will be shared via SMS and sent to the registered mobile number within 10 days of reaching the target amount.

Complimentary Insurance Cover- Get the following insurance benefits:

• Avail complimentary Personal Accidental Insurance Cover of Rs. 10 Lakh (offered by RuPay)
• Avail complimentary Fraud Liability Cover of Rs.1 Lakh

Fuel Surcharge Waiver – Valid only when the amount is between Rs. 500 and Rs. 4,000. Maximum discount can be Rs. 250 per statement cycle. Waiver can be availed at any fuel station in the country.

Concierge Service – Avail concierge services to make travel arrangements like hotel bookings, dining reservations. It can be used for consultancy services as well.

SBI Card looks for certain criteria in their applicants. These can include credit score, age, monthly income, location, etc.

To apply for Shaurya Select SBI Card, customers should be between the ages of 21 and 65 years and have a stable source of income.

Do note that SBI Card will require certain documents to verify the applicant’s identity, address and income. The income documents will be used to decide the credit limit on the card. Eligible documents for various categories are:

Proof of Identity	PAN Card, Aadhaar card, Driver’s License, Passport, Voter’s ID, Overseas Citizen of India Card, Person of Indian Origin Card, Job card issued by NREGA, Letters issued by the UIDAI
Proof of Address	Aadhaar card, Driver’s License, Passport, Utility Bill not more than 3 month’s old, Ration Card, Property Registration Document, Person of Indian Origin Card, Job card issued by NREGA, Bank Account Statement
Proof of Income	Latest one or 2 salary slip (not more than 3 months old), Latest Form 16, Last 3 months’ bank statement

Applicants can apply for Shaurya Select SBI Card by visiting the nearest State Bank of India or an authorised SBI Card sales person. To get the card customers will have to duly fill out an application form and submit it. They will also have to submit passport size photos and photocopies of the required documents. SBI Card will then process the application and dispatch the credit card if it meets their standards. The card’s delivery can be expected within 7 working days post dispatch.

What is Shaurya Select SBI Card?
Shaurya Select SBI credit card is a premium credit card designed for the military personnel. You can emboss the credit card with the Navy, Army, Air force or Paramilitary’s insignia. The card provides domestic lounge access, accelerated reward points, and more to the user.

Can the card be used outside of India?
Yes, the Shaurya credit card can be used in foreign land. However, a mark-up fee will be applied on all the transactions.

Who Provides the Insurance Coverage?
The insurance coverage is provided by RuPay. Do note that terms and conditions will be applicable on the credit cards.

How will I know if my Shaurya Select SBI Card application has been accepted or rejected?
SBI Card will inform you via email or mail if your application is accepted or rejected by the bank. However, you can track you application by visiting SBI Card website. Detailed steps for tracking application status can be found here.

Can I get the Coast Guard’s Insignia embossed on my Shaurya Select credit card?
No, currently you can only get Airforce, Army, Navy & Paramilitary’s insignia embossed on the credit card.
