Yatra SBI Card is a co-branded travel credit card offering a flat discount on travel bookings made through Yatra.com. The card charges a low annual fee of Rs. 499, but offers activation benefits worth up to Rs. 8,250 in the form of discount vouchers across categories like domestic travel, international travel, hotel bookings, etc. Beyond travel benefits, this SBI Credit Card also offers accelerated value-back on other everyday spends like groceries, dining, departmental stores, movies and entertainment.
Domestic travellers who prefer Yatra over other travel portals and want a low annual fee travel card can consider applying for it. However, consumers who seek benefits on international travel along with perks like complimentary lounge visits, low forex mark-up, etc. should explore other travel credit cards.
Note: The issuance of this card has been discontinued. The content on this page is for information only.
Yatra SBI Card competes with other cards co-branded with travel portals, such as Standard Chartered EaseMyTrip, MakeMyTrip ICICI and Ixigo AU Credit Card. Among these, the Standard Chartered Card and AU Card work on the same ‘direct discount’ model as Yatra SBI Card, whereas MMT ICICI offers accelerated reward earnings as MyCash. All these cards charge low annual fee but have their own pros and cons. For example, MMT ICICI and Ixigo AU provide low forex mark-up fee and lounge access benefits, which are not available on Yatra SBI Card. Hence, consumers should choose the right card basis their brand preferences and the need for additional travel perks.

In a market where most travel credit cards belong to the mid-range or premium segment, Yatra SBI Card is among the best low annual fee credit cards. At the cost of Rs. 499 only, cardholders can get significant savings on their domestic flight, domestic hotels and international flight bookings. In addition to this, the card extends benefits on some everyday spending categories like grocery, dining, departmental stores, movies, entertainment and international spends. However, the card does not offer any benefit on international hotel bookings, limiting the saving potential for international travellers. Despite being a travel card, it does not offer any lounge access benefit, which can again be a drawback. Travellers who do not wish to pay a high annual fee and save a considerable amount on their bookings may consider this card.
